You Heard Right ✶ Malena’s Available For Hire!

As a female in the comedy sector of film and television, Malena’s writing is often based on personal experiences that, after years of therapy and a teenage rebellion that lasted until she was 21, she now finds comical.

​Some of these experiences include: her parents' divorce, reading Twilight for the first time and loving it, her duel with depression, finding out what 'feminist' means and that she actually is one, coming out as Bisexual (and then Pansexual 5 years later), and the worries of being a 30-year old struggling with literally everything in LA. She plays with the pain & awkwardness of "growing up," adulthood, getting lost, what it means to be your own person, and attempting to find the light in the dark.

Now, post-quarter-life crisis, Malena’s able to write about her most relatable moments & struggles with sincerity and comic relief, to let others know they're not alone.

Her current focus is on reality television. Reality TV is a guilty pleasure among most. Malena’s goal is to create reality television that you don’t list as a guilty pleasure…just, well, a pleasure!

So Why Reality TV?

Since getting involved with volunteer groups at 13 years old, she knew she wanted a career that could make a difference, but couldn’t deny her passion for creativity. Malena creates and writes “ethical” reality shows to provide opportunities to those who have been less fortunate; those who never had support; who are looking for adventure or a change; who never had the means to pursue their dreams and talents.

She’s here to change the game of reality TV!
